All Valeo homes are well placed in established communities and Service Users are empowered to access local amenities.
Everyone has the opportunity to enjoy regular social activities including day trips, holidays and visits to local places of interest. We strive to provide a homely and relaxed atmosphere in every house.
Prior to moving in people are encouraged and supported to choose the décor and soft furnishings of their own room. Each bedroom reflects individual choices and preferences.
Experienced staff support people to participate in the day to day running of their home. Menu planning, shopping, laundry and cleaning may form part of an individual's daily living activities.

We insist that the décor, the fittings and furniture in all our properties are of the highest standard.
The company employs handymen to keep everything in top shape.
When a person walks into a Valeo property for the first time, we not only want them to feel they'd be happy to live there but that they would really want to.
Onsite Resources
In addition to being able to access the full range of services available in their local community, service users are able to use a number of facilities at various Valeo sites. These include:-
Massage and Aromatherapy
Valeo employs a qualified aromatherapist. Service Users can regularly access this service at either the Resource Centre or the facility within Templefield's grounds.
Resource Centre
All Valeo Service Users are able to access the range of services offered at the day centre. This includes cooking, IT including internet, e-mail and word-processing, arts and craft, horticulture and a full programme of social activities.
Hydrotherapy
This facility is located in the grounds of Templefields House in Dewsbury and is regularly accessed by Service Users project wide.
